Born in 1968, Boris made his first steps into programming on a ZX81 followed by a C64, an Amiga and an IBM compatible 286AT and 386SX. After finishing highschool and military duty, Boris studied macroeconomics and founded his first company. In 2009 the first droidcon was born and in 2011 Boris founded a gaming studio in Munich. Since 2013 he lives in Berlin. Most recently Mobile Seasons GmbH engaged in a joint venture with Messe Berlin.
Katja has strong operational and tactical experience in developing, managing and running mainly b2b trade shows and conferences. Including strategic planning, marketing, sales, operations and controlling. Throughout her career she has been responsible for partner acquisition, contract negotiations and integration of external suppliers into work flows.
Chief Operating Officer / CIO
Before joining the droidconHQ team, Greg oversaw the development of SAAS solutions based on machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing and deep-learning technologies. Greg has spent almost two decades as a successful entrepreneur, technology analyst, market researcher and technology consultant. Greg holds an MSc. in Technology and Innovation Management from the Brandenburg Technical University and the University of Applied Sciences in Brandenburg.
Head of Corporate Partnerships
Passion driven professional and startup enthusiast. International background with professional experience in Italy, Spain and Germany. Fluency in 4 languages. Experience in new markets opening. Main interests: business development, languages, technology, digitalization, venture development, expansion in new markets, growth strategy, sales. Emiliano is responsible for existing corporate partner management, global corporate partner acquisition and full sales cycle management.
Project Lead - droidcon HQ events
Jana has more than 17 years of Project Management experience at Messe Berlin. She currently oversees all aspects of droidcon event production for the three headquarter events: droidcon NYC, droidcon SF and droidcon Berlin.
Marketing & Communications Manager
Prior to joining the droidcon HQ team as Marketing & Communications Manager, Uli managed marketing and communications for both tech companies and consumer brands. He has been an entrepreneur and worked as a freelancer helping companies optimize their communications.
Partner Relations Manager
Jan has over 8 years experience staying on top of the fast-paced technology market. Prior to droidcon, Jan managed the IFA NEXT Showcase, bringing leading edge companies together who are shaping the future of technology. He also managed IFA TecWatch, which is the global innovation exchange at IFA that brings together researchers, industry professionals and retailers for a dynamic transfer of knowledge, information and business ideas.
Carla is a Project Manager working on the droidcon Global Community Platform and Mobile Season's newest product, the Children of Doom Festival of Science.
Rita has been at Messe Berlin for 7 year, in which time she has managed cutting edge projects such as the CUBE tech fair which is a Berlin-based global innovation ecosystem that aims to promote, create and foster partnerships between industry players and startups in life sciences, food tech/ agriculture, machinery/ manufacturing and infrastructure/ connectivity.
Corporate Partnerships Manager
Joel is currently working on a Master of Science degree at the BTU University while working at
the Messe Berlin department of Products & New Businesses. His main focus is international
development of new business partnerships for droidcon conferences.
